2019 Wooden Boat Festival

In a continuing effort to shine a spotlight on wild and scenic rivers, this presentation will show wooden boats running extreme white water in wild and scenic rivers. Greg and his small group of river runners were recently featured on a PBS special in a segment for Oregon Field Guide where they ran the Wild and Scenic Rogue River - one of the first eight rivers inducted into the Wild and Scenic protection program. Footage from that program will be shown along with breathtaking footage from other Wild and Scenic Rivers like the Middle Fork Salmon, Colorado, and Owyhee Rivers.
